Return Policy

Books

Books purchased from the Pharmaceutical Institute (“PI”) may be returned for a refund subject to the following conditions:

  • “Book(s)” includes only printed and bound literary compositions physically shipped to a PI customer. The definition of “book(s)” does not include purchased digital content such as research, data, publications or reports delivered electronically to a PI customer or any other product or service marketed, distributed, or sold by PI.
  • A book must be returned in its original condition, meaning the condition the book was in at the time of the customer’s receipt of the book.
  • Customer must: (i) return the book in accordance with the terms of this Return Policy; (ii) return the book to the return center address provided in the original package in which book was delivered; and (iii) complete and include the return form provided in the original package in which book was delivered along with the returned book.
  • Returns must be made within thirty (30) days of customer’s receipt of the respective book.
  • A three dollar ($3.00) per-book restocking fee shall be deducted from customer’s refunded amount. However, the restocking fee shall not apply to a book returned as a result of PI’s having erroneously shipped a book other than the book actually ordered by the customer.
  • Bulk orders of 25 books or more are not returnable.

Refunds will be made to a customer in the form of the original payment method within sixty (60) days of PI’s receipt of the retuned book.

Refunds will not include any amounts paid by the customer for shipping the ordered books to or from the customer.

Other Products and Services

Other than books, PI shall not accept returns or provide refunds for any other product or service marketed, distributed, or sold by PI.

At its sole discretion, on a case-by-case basis, PI may elect, at the request of a customer, to waive a restriction contained in this Return Policy; however, such waiver shall only apply with respect to the requested transaction, and shall not affect the requesting customer’s future transactions or those transactions of any other PI customer.
